This is me

Hi there, I'm John.

The world is a crazy, ever-changing place, but I believe humanity has found itself a few golden nuggets that transcend time. For one, we are storytellers. All of us... And in turn, we are all story lovers. Whether it's a random drunk at a dive bar or a killer ad campaign, it is in our nature to remember compelling stories.

My expertise lies in crafting compelling stories and using these stories as the pillars for strong marketing campaigns. 

Now for the boring, technical stuff:

I'm a digital marketing professional with three years of hands-on experience and a bachelor's degree.  I specialize in digital content creation,  persuasive copy, and analytics.

 

I bring proficiency in social media content planning, campaign development, Google Ads, and Google Analytics, ensuring comprehensive coverage across various digital marketing facets. I've also worked in the world of screenwriting for indie productions, giving me a storytelling edge.

In a world of peak saturation, what stands out?

For the campaigns I've worked on, this has always been the question. Every company is working at full capacity to get its message and product in front of the consumer. The problem is, consumers are shown thousands of ads in a single day. So what makes a campaign stand out? 

The worst thing a company can do is follow the rules.

 

Picasso once said, "Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist." In the world of marketing, the campaigns that gain the most recognition are the ones that break boundaries. Red Bull puts professional stunt artists in life-threatening situations, Dollar Shave Club went viral with a crass F-U to the razor industry, and Apple's 1984 ad convinced consumers that Apple products were a symbol of bold individualism (ironic now, I know). 

To even capture a few seconds of the consumer's attentions, campaigns must be bold and different.
